SIPES FOUNDATION The SIPES Foundation, a charitable and educational organization, was chartered in Texas in November 1981. In addition to awarding annual earth science scholarships and conducting educational seminars the Foundation maintains an extensive earth science video film library, with films of technical programs presented at annual meetings and also of seminars. The films are for sale or rent at modest prices from SIPES Headquarters. The SIPES Foundation also has a Distinguished Speaker program for use by SIPES chapters, as well as a Traveling Seminar program. 2008 OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS President: Lanny O.
